Vang Vieng, Laos
During my last trip to Laos, I visited the famous riverside town Vang Vieng. Surrounded by beautiful rock formation and mountain, no longer the notorious party town it used to be, Vang Vieng is now more outdoor oriented and offers various activities such mountain biking, trekking, kayaking, caving, swimming and rock climbing for adrenaline junkies and outdoor lovers. Vang Vieng town itself isn't any interesting, you can probably explore the whole town in less then 20 minutes, but it serve as a base for all your great outdoor activities.
