Isetan The Japan Store @ Lot 10

For those who regularly hang out in Bukit Bintang area might have noticed the Isetan of Lot 10 has closed down for renovation for awhile. Until recently they reopened it and made it the second Japan concept store in the world, where the other one being at Paris.



Being one of the fans of Japanese culture, and also having a friend working there as a floor manager I decided to pay him a visit during his working hour. The spanking new store offers a variety of goods and brands from Japan. Even the way the goods were visually displayed and the staff polite manners reminds me very much of Japan.

The concept store has six floors which has a theme based on its own:

4F: The Table
3F: The Cube
2F: The Room
1F: The Studio
GF: The Museum
LGF: The Market

The guys at Timeout did a great job by providing a detailed description on each floor. Do check out their report on it. Personally, I felt that Isetan had did a great job drawing crowds back to Lot 10 by opening the new concept store, not often you see that many crowd here as most had gone to Pavilion mostly.

For this session I only brought my phone, as a meant to test the camera on the new phone. Needless to say it didn't disappoint me, more details on that next round.

Too bad my friend was busy as it was a Deepavali weekend plus it's just opened, I'm guessing he wont have much time in him these few days, shall visit him later on when it's "calmer". Now I got a new hangout spot for my boring weekend.
